Both, Yahoo Search Marketing and MSN adCenter are unwieldy when it comes to quick, on the fly management of your accounts. I suppose Yahoo has a leg up, because you can at least do a spreadsheet download, make your changes, and reload. MSN has little or no account level override management ability. It seems most things are at the adgroup level, which is a real pain when you want to make an adjustment across the board, and only have over 50 adgroups to work your way through, one at a time. Ask anyone that manages PPC accounts, and most would say without hesitation that Google is absolutely the easiest and best. So why does everyone reinvent the wheel?

At least Ask.com didn’t try - they chose to license LookSmart’s ancient technology, and are paying the price for it.

I developed this term to explain my methodology of marketing client’s web sites and products on the web. It encompasses not just a single minded approach, but helps to explain a very wide, all encompassing viewpoint that is automatically, self tailored to each client’s needs. Although it was derived heavily from Search Engine Marketing (Pay Per Click Marketing), The Natural Method’s approach is applied in Search Engine Optimization also.

There isn’t anything “too revolutionary” about it, but it certainly uses a large dose of common sense. A balance of time and cost, with the client’s stated profit margin desired and you have all that’s necessary most of the time to create a succesful online marketing campaign. Even budget constraints are observed and all marketing efforts will be implemented, over time.

I look forward to exploring and explaining my methods.

I will also be commenting about the industry’s latest news and major players - especially where and when I disagree with their thoughts and comments.

Too many times, an entire industry is ruled and controlled by mass group pressures of what is considered right and correct. Few people are willing to really go against the grain, think originally, look at the issues from another angle, test those thoughts, and speak out as an individual against the norm … I will.
